March 5 Meeting

I am very proud of you guys! You were enthusiastic and committed. We decided to read the book Twilight by Stephanie Meyers. Next month we will meet here, first Tuesday of the month, which is April 1, 2008. After that, we'll decide at whose house to meet. You are free to post comments about this book and any others you read this month to this blog. You will need a gmail account, which is free and easy to set up! As soon as my book arrives and I have a chance to read it, I will post some questions for you to ponder. In the mean time, help us get to know you by commenting here. Tell us what you thought of the first meeting and what you would like to get out of the book club.

Here are a couple of the youtube videos we watched

Welcome!

Welcome Teens!

I am totally jazzed to welcome you to "our" blog. I want you to use this blog to let the rest of us know what you are reading and thinking while we travel this road of literacy together. My hope for you is that you will stretch yourself into new genres, test new waters, read novels that perhaps you wouldn't normally read. I love being surprised by a new author or genre with which I am unfamiliar.

So, buckle your seat belt and get ready to join this group on a fun journey into unknown lands.
