1) Yes, Bella is almost of age and seems to have a good grip on reality and what is good in the long run. Plus she should do what she believes and live with the consequences
2)No, i think that he doesnt really talk to people anyway, so its not that big a deal for him. Plus his family, who is also older than they really are, are in the same situation

1.Yes; Bella is almost of age and has characteristics of her that exceed beyond her years so to make a decision of that magnitude I believe her character could live with the results even if negative.
2.I believe it doesn't effect him that much because probably is accustomed to it.
