Questions from Charles for Born to Rock

1. If you were Leo Caraway, how would you react to finding out you were adopted and that your real dad was a punk rock star?

2. If you were son to a famous rock star and didn't know it, would you be mad at your parents for not telling you? Why or why not?

3. If you were being questioned about cheating on a test as Leo was, would you protect your friends from being punished, or take the punishment yourself?

4. When Leo figured out that Melinda was posting stuff about her life on a secret blog, he decided not to confront her about it. Would you do the same or talk to the person about it? Why or why not?

5. Seeing behind the scenes of a rock star's life, it doesn't seem all that promising, but at the same time has a lot of perks. If you had a choice, would you be a rock star or not? Explain.

1)I wouldn't feel that much different, because he wasn't really part of my life, he wasn't part of my life at all so it wouldn't have made any difference.

2)Not really, and this goes back to the answere for #1, if that person isn't part of your life, it doesn't make that much difference, it shows that you don't really need a biological parent to be there for you, you just need a motherly, and father like figure in there place.

3)I would have just rolled with punishment, its just 1 test. Ya live ya learn.

4)If its a secret blog its ment to be a secret, if you really felt like you needed to talk to that person, i would just make a secret account to reply to there secret blog.

5)I would, It seems like an interesting life, thats what it come down to, is that the life for you or not. I feel as if, if i had the talent and all, it would be the life for me, on the road, doing crazy things, sounds fun. But maybe not so much when i get older.

Okay, I liked this book, it was easy and fun to read! Now to the questions:

1)I would be really excited!
2)I wouldn't be too upset about the whole thing... It would be nice to know but I wouldn't be completely devastated. If your happy with your life as it is, why worry about things that would probably just make things more complicated or worse?
3)I would probably just protect my friends. If it had a more complex undertone, like how the teacher just wanted to get Leo's buddy in trouble because he was gay, and I don't think I would ever rat my friends out. Like Zahlen said, it's just one test.
4)I think that in most cases it's better to confront someone directly, but it seems that Leo was in a lot of denial about his feelings toward Melinda, sometimes its better to wait and see what happens and thats all he did. It seemed to work out well for him. ;)
5)I wouldn't be one. I love my life now, and it's complex enough. I don't need millions of people to get involved with me, I don't mind privacy.

Good book choice! See you all tomorrow night!

1. I would be shocked, but at the same time kinda excited. Since i got caught cheating on a test and lost my scholarship, it would be perfect finding out i had a rich real father. Plus its like finding out you royalty or something. Every time someone says "that guy is awesome" you can say "thats my real dad".

2. I would probably be mad, just because it would have been nice to know earlier so you could start either mooching off of the person or just getting to know the person. It would probably solve a lot of unsolved genetic problems that i would have been dealing with, like the rage or the looks.

3.Take the punishment. Like Zahlen said, Ya live, Ya learn. Its only one test.

4. I would definitely talk to the person about it. Its kind of like searching through a diary, you shouldn't do it unless the person knows you are and lets you.

5. I would not like to be a rock star. I would way rather be an actor or a famous politician or something. There is way less drugs and publicity, AKA: easier life with same amount of money.
